SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
- Computer Based Examination:(Tier-I)

Tier-I Exam Pattern: The Tier-I examination will contain objective-type multiple-choice questions. Candidates will get 60 minutes to complete the exam, with a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
Tier-II Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL Tier-II Examination 2026 is conducted in two sessions on the same day and consists of four sections covering Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning & General Intelligence, English Language & Comprehension, and General Awareness. The Computer Knowledge Test is qualifying in nature, while the Skill Test/Typing Test is conducted as applicable for DEO and LDC/JSA posts. Candidates must qualify in all the required sections, with 1 mark of negative marking for each wrong answer in Sections-I and II.
